A sweet tasting wine is normally considered to contain "sugar". Winemakers use the term, sugar or residual sugar as the amount of fructose or glucose remaining in the finished wine. They are not talking about cane sugar but residual grape sugar, leaving us a sweet delectable organic wine.
Sweet wines come in a range of sweetness; sweet, medium sweet and liqueurs. Organic Liqueur wines are the sweetest of the range. The sweetest wines being about 600 grammes per litre of residual sugars, but is is more reasonable to have under 300grammes per litre..

A sweet red wine is made from red grapes. Winemakers make the wine with sweetness remaining in the finished wine. They are not talking about cane sugar but residual grape sugar, leaving you a sweet delectable sweet red wine.
Sweet red wines come in a range of sweetness; sweet, medium sweet and liqueurs. Organic Liqueur wines are the sweetest of the range. The sweetest wines being high in residual sugars, but is is more reasonable to have under 300 grammes per litre. Some sweet red wines are fortified to make port styles and others have a little grape juice concentrate added to give you a sweet red wine of less than 30 grams per litre.
Vintage port is usually a sweet red wine, as well as liqueur shiraz.

Organic Pedro Ximenez

This organic sweet white wine has a chestnet golden colour with flavours of honey and butter-scotch. This unique wine has a sweet but deeply complex finish that is beautifully balanced.
Its alcohol fortification is from the stills at Harris Organic - and thus it is a certified organic fortified wine, unique to Australia. The alcohol content is 18.5% and is 2008 vintage.
"This unique and exquisite organic wine is a favourite served as an aperitif or with desserts". Suggested foods - try this with a cheese platter or even a dessert of your choice, or perhaps, pancakes, waffles and icecream.

Organic sweet red wine

Harris Organic Wines has an organic sweet rose' made from muscat a petit grains.

Rose'

Rose' is a light style table wine made by crushing hand-picked red muscat grapes. The full flavoured organic wine is sweet but fresh and delightful to the palate. Named 'Rose' by youngest Harris - Madeleine, who could smell crushed rose petals on the nose. The wine is matured for several months before bottling. A light pink - the wine indeed has aromas of rose petals and fuchsia with a rich, sweet, rounded palate and fresh acidity. It has an appealing texture and seems to please every taste bud.
